How To Activate The Paid Membership Modules?

Users Ultra Pro allows you to charge your users to get access to your website. This feature is deactivated by default and you can easily activate it.

Changing the Registration Method:

Go to Users Ultra – Settings – Registrations

After you’ve activated the Membership Features you will need to create the Membership Packages

Creating Membership Packages:

Click on the “Membership” tab. There you will be able to manage your membership packages. Once you’re there click on the “Add New Plan” button. You will see the following screen.

Please input a name, description, price and set the billing period. These are the common settings.

 Additional Settings:

Requires Admin Moderation: By default the user will be activated on payment confirmation. However you may choice to not activate users automatically. You may want to use this feature if you want to check all your paid subscription then approve them manually.

Role To Assign:

You can choice what role the user will be assigned with if they purchase the package you’re creating.

Custom Form To Assign:

The specified form will be visible within the user’s dashboard when purchasing the package.

Membership Packages In Registration Form:

The above packages list will be displayed in the registration form. The users will be taken to Paypal after they have filled out the subscription form.

 

Paypal Setup:

Please make sure you’ve set your paypal account to start receiving payments. You have to click on the Gateways Tab.

How To Change the Plugin Language?

Changing the default language can be done by editing the wp-config.php file of your WordPress website.

You can edit it by using simple text editor.

Please note:

A corresponding MO file for the chosen language must be installed to wp-content/languages. For example, install   xoousers-de_DE.mo to wp-content/languages and set WPLANG to ‘de_DE’ to enable German language support.

The “xoousers-” prefix should be specified.

 Please note 2:

On WordPress 4.1 you may need to adjust the language settings in the WP Dashboard. Click on Settings – General and you will see the following screen.

Allowing Users To Contact Aministrators

This feature will allow users to get in contact with the administrators by clicking on a “contact” button that will be displayed in the user’s dashboard.

Activating the messaging option:

By default this option is not active. You will need to activate it by click on UU – Settings – General.

Once you’ve activated this feature a button to contact the administrator will be displayed in the user’s dashboard.

When the user clicks on the “Contact admin” button the following message form will appear.

As you’ve realized there are two messages in the “Outbox” of this user. This is not  bug, This means that there are two administrators in your WordPress and you’ve “checked” the two administrators when activating this feature.

Please note: each one of your administrators will be notified when a user sends a message.

Checking my emails as administrator:

Please login to your Users Ultra account as administrator and click on the “My Messages” link. You will see the “unread” message there.

How to Generate a New Serial Key?

Sometimes you will need to work on your dev environment and then once you’re ready to go live you will need to move everything to a live server.

You will need to either re-create your serial key or change your domain’s name. This can be done through the user’s dashboard.

Click on the following link http://usersultra.com/login.php. Fill out the login form with the credentials you used when yo purchased your copy of Users Ultra Pro.

Changing the domain’s name

Generating a new serial:

This can be done by deleting the domain and creating it again.

Updating Your Users Ultra Pro Plugin

A notification message should appear on your WordPress dashboard. You can check if there is a new version of Users Ultra Pro by clicking on the Plugins – Installed Plugins link.

If there is a new version you will see a notification similar to the displayed below.

All you have to do is clicking on the “Update now” link and Users Ultra Pro will be automatically updated to the last version.

Forcing Update Checking:

Sometimes you will need to “force” the update, that can be done by clicking on the “Update” icon.

Click on the “update” icon displayed at the top navigator bar and you will be taken to the WordPress Updates page.

If you don’t see the new version of Users Ultra Pro, you may need to click on the “Check Again” button. If there is a new version you will see it in the “Plugins” section. That section displays plugins that have a new versions available.

Just check Users Ultra Plugin then click on “Update Plugins” button.

That’s it!

You should be able to use the latest version of Users Ultra Pro.

Installing Users Ultra

Once you’ve created your license you will be able to download the .zip file to your computer.

Please follow these steps to install your copy of Users Ultra.

Step 1:

Get in your pro account by logging in here https://usersultra.com/login.php and click on the “Get Latest Version” button.

You will be taken to the following screen, just click on the download icon and save the .zip file in your local drive.

Step 3:

Go to your Plugins Administration in WordPress Dashboard and click on the “Add New” link.

Then click on the “Upload Plugin” link.

Step 5:

You will be taken to a screen that will let you upload Users Ultra from your local drive. Just select the .zip file and click “Install Now”.

You should see the following message if everything worked the way it should. If you get an error message, please contact us at our forums.

You will need to “activate” the plugin right after it has been uploaded and installed. To activate it, just click on the “Plugins” link and click on the “Activate” link as displayed in the below image.

These message are displayed by the plugin the first time you install it. We highly recommend you clicking on the option that creates the basic Users Ultra pages.

Congratulations !!!. You’re ready to start using Users Ultra.

 

How To Activate Paypal IPN Notifications?

Instant Payment Notification (IPN) notifies Users Ultra PRO almost instantly about transaction events.

Although PayPal usually processes IPN messages immediately, IPN is not synchronized with actions on your website. Internet connectivity is not always 100% reliable and IPN messages can be lost or delayed

When a customer makes a payment to you or a payment is reversed or refunded, PayPal will post a notification to Users Ultra PRO at the URL you specified. Included in this notification will be all of your customer’s payment information (e.g. customer name, payment amount) as well as a piece of encrypted code.

After you have activated Instant Payment Notification, your server will be sent a notification every time you receive a payment, this notification will be sent as a hidden “FORM POST” to the URL you specified, and will include all of the payment information.

IMPORTANT: Users Ultra PRO will create the IPN URL on a per-transaction basis, in which case you don’t need to set it up in your profile Paypal Profile.
